The Roehampton Hotel

The TV’s need an upgrade. I couldn’t get the Bluejay game, though the hotel was quiet at night and we slept well. The rooms were neat and clean, and the maid service was helpful. It’s also close to the subway, which made getting around Toronto easy. My sisters and I were impressed by how well the staff treated us. Check-in was quick, our special requests were handled, and they suggested a good nearby restaurant while we waited for the room. They called cabs when we needed them, and the valet team was exceptionally friendly, parked the car, and brought our suitcases up. Breakfast was excellent, with impeccable service. The staff clearly know how to deal with guests. We recommend the hotel and would stay again.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and very good, better than I expected. For the price, it was good value. I was disappointed to learn the hotel no longer has a rooftop pool, since listings on Google and elsewhere still say it does.

We paid about $140 for one night in a room with two king-size beds. It felt cozy, and the hotel granted our booking request. The window view was fine, though nothing special. Staff were welcoming, and breakfast was good. The outside of the building looks old, while the inside seems updated. The bathroom was compact but clean. Parking cost an unexpected extra $20, at least compared with my experience at other hotels in Canada.

The room had a broken sofa bed, and the key card only worked sometimes. Still, we had a good stay and would come back. The price was great, the location convenient, and valet parking was included. The outdoor pool was warm and private, and breakfast was a large buffet with lots of variety.
