The location was perfect, close to the train stations and within walking distance of lots of places. Still, there are better options nearby, and I wouldn't stay again. We booked for the weekend because of the location and the pool for my son, but the pool and hot tub were closed, with no notice when we booked. The breakfast wasn't good, and we wished we'd saved the money and eaten elsewhere. We also got locked out when the key card reader's battery died and had to wait for someone to fix it.

We had a great view from SportsNet Grille after the Blue Jays game, and the service on a Sunday night was excellent. The lounge even had an NHL playoff atmosphere. The property is beautiful and attached to Rogers Centre right in the heart of the city, so getting around is easy. Valet was fast and courteous, and the front desk and housekeeping staff were very welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

This is our new favourite place to stay in Toronto. The location can't be beat, the front desk service was A+, and the beds were very comfortable in both rooms. Room 575 had a great view of the bridge to the dome, perfect for people watching, and the room itself was spacious. It's quite a walk from the elevator, though, which could be hard for anyone with mobility issues. I was there for a dental conference and a Jays game, staying at the Marriott for two nights this weekend. The first night we had room 418, looking into the dome. It was amazing, and we'll rent it again for a game. The next night I was in 575. Kevin at the front desk was amazing and got me into the second room by 11:30, so I could check out and check back in.

Trevor and Felicia welcomed us back like family again, with that special greeting and VIP treatment we always get. We appreciate their hospitality so much. Matt at valet remembered us from earlier visits too. We had another lovely little getaway at the Mariott - 1 Blue Jays Way in Toronto for our annual Blue Jays game. The baseball view from the room was awesome, service was great, and we really enjoyed our meals at Sportnset Barr and Grill. Definitely recommend it for all those reasons.

The staff were wonderful throughout our three nights in a King Suite in mid-April 2026. Housekeepers greeted us with a chorus of “Good Morning,” and the team even hurried out late at night to bring our car up. Valet was $50 a day, which seems standard for downtown Toronto, and the drivers were great. The location at the back of Rogers Centre was a major draw, with everything downtown a short walk away. The room had sloping floor-to-ceiling windows, electric blinds, lots of space, eclectic furniture, and two huge TVs. The bill came to about $850 a night after room and sales taxes. I'm sure Toronto has pricier rooms, and we did have a suite, but it was hard to feel we got value for the money. The Blue Jays were playing at home, which may have pushed the rate up. The room was clean but tired in places. Given the price, it felt chintzy to charge extra for bottled water when they'd only left two small complimentary bottles. The TVs were nice, but had only broadcast channels and lots of commercials. It'd be good if hotels offered Netflix or something similar. Our room was at the far end of a long corridor, about a two-minute walk from the elevators. The layout probably meant someone had to be at the end, so that may be unfair. Wi-Fi was patchy, and we ended up using phone data instead. The Sportsnet Grill was too expensive for me, with breakfasts at $35 or more before tax and tip. It was busy, so maybe that's just my view. We were paying for the location, I guess. A baseball fan would have loved it, even though our room didn't face the arena. I knew the rate and chose to stay, but I still didn't think it was good value. I'd probably only return if I could get a better price.
