There’s a huge amount of noise in this building. You can easily hear neighbours upstairs and people in the hall, and the garbage gets collected every morning on the east side, shared with the restaurant below, which is insanely loud. The sound insulation is poor, so a massive building planned right in front of 15 QQ next year is bound to mean construction noise too. The building is already in fairly bad shape for one that isn’t that old, and the cost of living there is high. It’s also not rent controlled. There’s no visitor parking, and residents of 15 QQ can’t access their parking directly, so they have to walk a long way underground to reach their spots. Don’t move here and save yourself the headache.

This waterfront condo complex is beautiful, with units in different designs and heights that make the area feel special. One of the newer tall condos stands out for its balconies with projecting angles and lines. Below it is the NBA’s first “Courtside Restaurant,” set to occupy more than 10,000 square feet. I saw a technician installing the NBA Courtside Restaurant sign today. Check out my photos.

The trash bins have been there for over a month, and they’re still there. In person, 39 QQE staff told me they were meant to save residents 20 footsteps to the trash room. Meanwhile, they deny that by email and say there’s a repair in the trash room with no known ETA. In an update, they said I have no jurisdiction over the bins and just have to live with it. So, live here if you want trash around your car. No wonder the handicap parking spots are full of cars without handicap cards. They treat your maintenance fee like a joke.

As a mover, I’ve worked in many Toronto buildings, and this one was extremely clean and trouble free. The cleaners were also very kind and respectful, so thanks to them too. The move for our clients went smoothly thanks to “AZIZ.” He’s the concierge who makes the whole place better. If every concierge had his personality, things would run smoothly and tenants and owners would be happier. Thanks again, 29 QQE. Your board did a good job this time. AZIZ is a keeper. Thank you for your patience and hospitality Aziz. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one’s deserved.

The small units have a nice view and location, but the prices are an extreme premium. For a “luxury” building, the amenities already feel pretty bare minimum, and half of them have been shut down for months for “cleaning.” There’s been no heating for months and the elevators keep breaking. False fire alarms are constant, extremely loud, and there’s no way to silence or turn them down. They go off in the middle of the night, sometimes because of a false alarm in a completely different building. Security and management are clueless.
