The rooms are set up more like little apartments, with a living space, a separate bedroom, and sometimes a small kitchen. There’s underground parking too, which is handy if you’re driving. The staff were lovely and quickly switched our room from a double to a twin setup when we needed it. The hotel was clean and the WiFi worked well. It isn’t especially modern, but the comfort and amenities make up for that. We had a very good stay at Town Inn Suites. The location is convenient, about 7-8 minutes from the metro, with plenty of restaurants and useful places nearby. We’d definitely recommend it.

I won’t stay here again. During my three nights between late February and early March, the internet was down for almost a full day. I was traveling for work and rely on being online, and I don’t think an outage should take that many hours to fix. I also kept waking up to loud metallic banging early in the morning in room 2701 on the 27th floor. I couldn’t tell exactly what was making the noise. It may have been the elevator, or maybe some kind of work was happening, but the management must have been able to hear it. The room itself was comfortable. The hotel is fairly close to downtown, just six subway stops from Union Station, and the front desk is open around the clock. The staff were very kind, but those two problems were serious.

The place is really cool, and I love that it feels like an apartment for such a great price. The staff were welcoming and very nice, and the service and location are both really good. I’d read some pretty bad reviews after booking and started to regret it, but I couldn’t change the reservation, so I decided to trust that things would be fine. I’m really glad I did. This place deserves better, more honest reviews.

The suite was lovely and really roomy, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We were there because we had to go to Sick Kids Hospital in the morning, and the nine-minute drive was very convenient since home is three hours away. The kitchen was nice, and I’d bring food to cook next time. Parking at $40 is ridiculous, though. The balcony door was locked, so we couldn’t enjoy the view from the room. There also wasn’t a restaurant where we could just grab food after a long travel day. We had to wander around looking for somewhere to eat as it was getting dark. I’d still recommend the place. It only missed the fifth star because of those issues.

The renovated King suite was great, with lots of space, a nice kitchen, a very clean room, and a comfortable bed. We were upgraded from an unrenovated Queen suite, which felt dated, so I’d ask for a renovated one. The staff were very friendly, and although renovation work is happening, we couldn’t hear anything on our floor. The area is nice, despite some reviews saying otherwise. There’s a stretch of a few blocks on Church street where there are homeless people, and it could feel less safe at night, but it’s easy to avoid. A few kitchen basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, paper towels, and some extra cutlery would make the place even better.
