The garden and its little trail were lovely, with a private pond and beautiful morning views. There are also hiking trails, lakes, and art studios around town for daytime outings. I stayed here in 2023 and still remember the covered patio, where I fell in love with the coneflower. My room was cozy, with a view of the untamed backyard. Inside, there was the warmth of wood, along with collected artifacts and books. From outside, the house looked like a cozy cabin deep in the woods, decorated with chimes, bird feeders, and stained glass. The hosts were kind and attentive. Breakfast was such a hearty spread that I skipped lunch. This was one of my top experiences in Ontario, and I’d go back if I get the chance.

The hosts were amazing, the gardens were beautiful, and the rooms were lovely. It has everything you could want for a peaceful stay, and it’s so close to the main strip in Buckhorn.

The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and more than ample, with different options each day. Audrey is a fabulous cook, and the homemade preserves and muffins were lovely. The squirrel and bird show at breakfast was quite a sight. We spent three wonderful days with Audrey & Bogey at their home. They followed all the social distancing and COVID protocols, and we felt warmly received. They know the area and had great dining suggestions. We also enjoyed the gardens and walks on the property, and had a relaxing time. We’d love to return.

Bog ie and Audrey were such sweet, kind hosts, and the breakfast was amazing. The muffins are a must try! My husband and I chose this lovely bed and breakfast for a little getaway, and the beautiful property was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It’s very close to town and about 10 minutes from the beach. During our stay, they made sure to follow provincial safety guidelines. We’ll definitely be back!

The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us and were helpful with information about nearby places and things to do. My fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They were extremely nice and hospitable, and served amazing homemade hot breakfast every day. The property was super clean and well kept. From the dining hall, we had a beautiful view of birds and squirrels nibbling at the feeders.
