Benoit was so attentive, and even left us a special treat on the second morning. He’d prepared yogurt and granola for both mornings, along with coffee and fruit. The bed was comfortable, and after a morning of surfing and an afternoon hiking, the jacuzzi was a welcome reprieve. The home is clearly cared for and thoughtfully built. It was quiet and peaceful, and we had a really restful stay, waking up with the sun. We’d definitely stay again.

The bedbugs were the final straw. It’s been almost a week, and we’re still dealing with itching and sores. We asked for a refund for the last night because we couldn’t sleep or put up with the bites any longer. The host seemed friendly, but didn’t really care about what we were going through. Very disappointing. We stayed in the Queen Suite. There were no curtains, so sunlight woke us at 6 AM, and with no sound insulation between floors, we could hear the guests above walking right over our heads. Breakfast was yogurt with granola and a waffle. The jacuzzi also serves as the shower, and getting in and out felt dangerous because there was no step to help.

We’ve stayed at Hyphocus Inn for more than 10 years and are relieved to see it’s in good hands. The property recently changed owners, and this time we met Benoit. He’s carrying on the great work Kevin did over the years, including improving the surroundings and serving simple but tasty breakfasts with high-quality cereals and fruit. Benoit was attentive and quick to handle any extra requests. He’s also charming and interested in marine biology and marine life, so it was fun talking with him. We’ll keep coming back. Highly recommended!

For my 26th birthday, my fiancé and I spent three days at this beautiful bed and breakfast, and it was such a delight. The owners were welcoming and very pleasant. Our cozy, nicely decorated suite had a wood-burning fireplace, a double Jacuzzi tub, a queen-sized bed, a lovely view, and a little patio to sit on. Breakfast arrived at whatever time we chose, with hot coffee, and each morning brought a different yummy meal. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, cozy, welcoming suite, great breakfasts, and a nice atmosphere!
