The bed was good, and the room felt comfortable, quiet, and nice. There was a big window, plus a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and TV. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The updated rooms were clean, though the concrete-block construction gave the place a familiar, motel-like feel. My only real concern is the rate, $350 a night seems crazy for a motel.

Noise was a big problem. Around 11 or midnight, a group of drunk kids were yelling and banging on people's doors, and with no soundproofing at all, we could hear them clearly. The bathroom has no shower fan, so humidity gets into the bedroom. You can't open the unscreened window to air things out at night unless you want mosquitoes to eat you alive.

Everything in town was easy to reach from the Motel, and it was close to the wharf. Our room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd strongly suggest staying here when you visit Ucluelet.

Our room had two double queen beds and was spacious and clean. There was a mini fridge, a kuerig coffee maker, and basic Telus TV, but I wished there had been a microwave. Since there's no continental breakfast, one would be a nice extra for guests who want to heat up food. The location is great, close to just about all the downtown Ucluelet restaurants and grocery stores.
