The rafting was a lot of fun, though it can get rough. There’s not much around the area, but the setting is beautiful, and the views make the location worthwhile. I also love how they bring Mi'kmaq culture into things wherever they can. It’s a great cultural experience.

We had such a good time on the tidal bore. Our early morning trip on September 17 was cold and foggy, but the wetsuits and rain jackets helped keep us warm. Gloves would’ve helped too, since my hands got so cold it was hard to grip the ropes and handles. Even so, the experience was amazing, and we really appreciated the photographer capturing some great shots. Thank you!!!

The cabin was small but had what we needed, including a kitchenette and a gas grill on the porch. It was a peaceful place to unwind after a day of Tidal bore rafting. The knotty pine interior was really cute, and they’d left coffee supplies, though there’s no breakfast since it’s a cabin. There’s also an above-ground pool, and the lodge has ping-pong and billiards.

I was nervous going into my first tidal bore rafting trip this summer, but it ended up being one of the most exciting things I’ve done. Darrah was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and fun, and kept everyone feeling safe while the energy stayed high. With the full moon, the waves were huge. We laughed and screamed our way through it, and had a blast. The staff made everything feel easy and welcoming from start to finish. I’m already hoping to go again next summer, and would recommend Tidal Bore Rafting Resort to anyone after an unforgettable Nova Scotia adventure.

Sarah was a capable, knowledgeable guide, and our Tidal Bore rafting trip with her was even better than we expected. The rafting was so much fun, and mud sliding was a blast too. I’d absolutely take another trip with this company. 👍
