I've stayed at this chalet in both summer and winter, and each season is worth the trip. It's in a lovely spot where you feel tucked away without being too far from everything, with a great lake view. The place has been kept for decades, and that gives it a lot of rustic charm. We had bathrooms with a bath and shower, two beds, and lots of storage. I liked being able to do things for ourselves, from cooking and washing dishes to making fires. There's also a barbecue on the terrace, right by that beautiful view. We walked around the lake, which was a highlight, and the water is among the cleanest in the region. Thanks again for the hospitality. We'll be back soon.

There's plenty to do, and you can just pick up activities or ask someone who works there. The shared fridges, ovens for cooking, and fire pit were handy. It's a good fit for a relaxing weekend away. The place was a bit dirty and the beds weren't especially comfortable, but expectations should be modest for a more-off community house, not a nice hotel.

A motorless lake that feels like a dream in the morning, and a lodge that feels like somewhere people return to year after year. Jen's is full of stories and care, with a marvelous old-country charm. The place has a warm, hospitable feel, and it's lovely for being alone together or gathering to toast a good year and share the end of the day. It's simple and worn in, the kind of lodging I love because it doesn't have that plastic sameness. The photos capture it well: a rustic lodge by a postcard-perfect lake in the gentle Laurentian Mountain. There's wood and paneling everywhere, a common room filled with antiques and memories, and moose antlers on the back deck wall. Calm, basic, and charming, like a secret from an old musical where the former team reunites to save a place they love and the people who keep it going.

We had a great lake view and lots of boats to choose from, including paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, wakeboards, and a catamaran. The host, Yan (excuse my spelling), was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He did what he could when my little sister wanted a particular room she'd liked on her previous visit, even though it wasn't ready yet. The lodge has a full kitchen and barbecues, and they gave us a whole fridge for our food. We didn't have dinner or breakfast there, though my family said they were great last time. Our rooms were clean and breezy at night. It's a cozy, classic lodge with historical artifacts, working wifi, a theatre room, and more. A little rustic, but it did the job, and it worked well for a trip with multiple families or meeting new people. Thanks for having us!

I come to this lodge every year with a group for skiing and snowboarding, and it's a great place to stay in the area. The owners are very pleasant and go out of their way to make sure you're happy with the experience. I'd recommend it to anyone.
