After a good night’s rest, I felt ready for the next five-hour stretch of my drive. The mountain views are spectacular, and there are plenty of gas stations and places to eat nearby. My room was spotless and had everything I needed, from a desk and dresser to a microwave, fridge, toiletries, towels, and hairdryer. The bed was large and comfortable, and the big TV had enough channels for me to watch TLC and the hockey game. Free Wi-Fi was strong enough to download podcasts and route maps. Parking was ample, free, and felt safe, with just a few steps to unload. Check-out was easy, either leaving the keycards in the red mailbox or handing them to the cheerful clerk. I was traveling to Edmonton and stopped in Valemount after a 5 1/2 hour drive. Booking, check-in, and finding my room were simple. The clerk was friendly, professional, and informative. He offered a bathtub or walk-in shower, and I chose the shower. He showed me a nearby restaurant menu and suggested local breakfast places. There’s also a hot tub, which I didn’t use because I wanted to watch hockey, but I’ll try it next time. I’d recommend the hotel and stay again.

The room was much bigger than I expected, bright, clean, and very quiet, with two king size beds. It had AC, a microwave, fridge, and a big TV. Best of all, there was a luxury hot tub/jacuzzi right in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and showed us where to go. Excellent for this village.

We were too tired to keep driving to Jasper, so we stopped in Valemount for the night. The room was decent, but the floor was dirty enough that my white socks turned black after I took my shoes off and walked to the bed. I ended up wearing flip flops indoors. There were also a few holes and water leak stains. We only needed one night and left on time. The carpet really needs a deep clean, so indoor flip flops are a good idea.

We booked an Executive Suite, and it was clean, spacious, and well maintained. Honestly, this Inn was worth the stay. I know people often read reviews before booking, so trust me, this is one to consider. Valemount Vacation Inn is totally recommended.

The room was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of fresh linen. Everything was well maintained, and the rooms were very clean for the price. The hot tub was large and clean, though the 430pm to 10pm hours were a bit disappointing. There’s also a small updated gym with what you need. Staff were friendly and upgraded us when we arrived. I’d definitely suggest staying here.
