HI-Vancouver Downtown

I had fun joining the group activities, and the guides knew their stuff. Shout out to Erich, Davie, Kelvin, and Faizl. I went on the Lynn Canyon tour, bring swim clothes, joined the Kayak Event, and did the Bar Crawl. The building is a little old, but the rooms and shared areas were very clean. Beds have a lamp and 2 outlets, and breakfast is included, with the basics like eggs, toast, yogurt, fruit, and juice. The hostel is right in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

I liked that the men's and women's washrooms were separate, and that you could borrow a towel. The room and washroom were good, and the location is great. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back to this hostel. :)

I stayed two nights in a four-person bunk. The bed has a nice, quite large locker underneath for valuables, but you'll need to bring your own lock. Everything was very clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast good. The area felt quiet and safe. I was there for work and skipped the outings, though the group WhatsApp kept me up to date on events and gathering times. The photos made the outings look fun.

I've stayed here twice and will absolutely come back next time I'm in town. The location is fantastic, with bars and restaurants nearby, plus a grocery store and a beach within walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and each bunk has plug-ins. Staff are all super helpful. There are daily events, from city tours during the day to something on site in the evenings. Breakfast is good, but very basic. On-site parking is available for an extra cost.
