I’ve been at Mike’s place for over a month and have already booked another visit. He’s an amazing host. It’s peaceful and quiet, with easy access to the metro and downtown, which is just what I wanted.

The house was so quiet, and whoever built it did a great job. The owner was kind and attentive. There’s plenty of food on main Street if you’re hungry, and specialty coffee is just a short hop down the street. I came to van for food and to buy a vehicle, and I’ll probably stay here again next time I’m in town.

I hated sleeping in that bed. The pillows were old and hard, the stained comforter didn’t feel fresh, and there was a thick layer of dust under the bed. There was no TV and no access to kitchen utensils. The owner didn’t hang towels in the bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Mike is a lovely host. I’d choose to stay here over a chain hotel every time.

Customer service was extremely poor. What I paid for wasn’t what I got.
