The Parker Hotel Vancouver

The Parker Hotel's location was excellent, with plenty of good restaurants and attractions close enough to walk to. My room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and I'd consider coming back. There was construction around the building, which brought morning noise and made it harder to relax. I also missed having room service, since ordering food late at night was difficult. Luckily, there were plenty of good places to eat nearby.

The room had lots of comfortable details: big chairs, a huge TV, an ice bucket, and a distinctive dimmer that let me set the lights instead of choosing only on or off. The bathroom looked brand new, and I appreciated the l’occitane amenities. The room was spotless and modern, with comfy beds. The view wasn't special, though being on a higher floor meant I got more morning sunlight. The rooftop restaurant was a nice surprise, with great views, and I couldn't hear its music or noise from my room on the 8th floor. The shuttle also made getting around simple, without working out transit or directions. Kiti at the desk made check-in effortless, answered my questions right away, and always seemed to be in the lobby with a smile and ready to help. I felt comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived, even though it was just a quick weekend visit and I hadn't expected much. The hotel is compact, with a small lobby and driveway, but the location works well for much of Vancouver. Parking at $52/night is absurdly expensive, more than at five-star hotels I've stayed in. Aside from that, it's a great option and we'll be back.

Mako and Kiti at reception were warm and helpful, and made check-in easy. Their service added a lot to my stay at Parker Hotel Rooftop and Bar. The hotel itself was nice, comfortable, and well organized. I had a really good experience.

We arrived before check-in and Kiti at the front desk kindly offered us an early room, so we didn't need to ask about storing our luggage. Everyone we met was welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the service was excellent throughout. The Parker Hotel has an older feel, but the room was clean and reasonably quiet, and the comfortable bed was what mattered most. The location made it easy to explore downtown Vancouver. We'd stay again.
