Victorian Hotel

We had a pleasant first stay in downtown Vancouver at Victorian. The front desk staff greeted us warmly and were helpful. Our king room was spotless, with a large bed, a clean shower, hot water, and good pressure. There was a capsule coffee machine in the room and by the first-floor elevator, plus free bottled water in the room and a refill station by the elevator. They also provided an umbrella, handy in rainy Vancouver. The soundproofing was good, and the place seemed recently renovated. Gastown's steam clock is very close, with cafes and clothing stores nearby; buses are close too, and the train station is about an eight-minute walk. The main drawback was seeing homeless people using drugs in the area.

I've stayed here over several years, and you guys have been the best. It's one of my favorite hotels, cozy and polite, with supportive, informative staff and comfortable, homely rooms that have all the amenities. I just wish I could take one of the robes home.

The property has an interesting history and has been fully renovated with modern conveniences. It was immaculate, and housekeeping deserves credit for that. Every front desk staff member was professional and extremely helpful. I'd choose to stay here whenever I'm in Vancouver.

We were six family members spread across two rooms, and there was plenty of space. The rooms were warm, very clean, and had large, comfortable beds, plus mini fridges and tea and coffee making facilities. The location was great, with a supermarket nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, handling all our requests quickly and generously. Prices were reasonable, and we'd definitely return. This is a gorgeous hotel I'd recommend.
