We came as a family of four from July 20 to 22, and we're used to staying in hotels. The employees were friendly, which helped, but the service still fell short. When I asked for some compensation after learning about the pool slide, all they offered was extra Hilton points. We chose this hotel because the pool was advertised with a slide. I was told it had been closed for two years with no plan to reopen, and that the website mentioned this. I checked after we arrived and couldn't find any such notice. The internet was also down at check-in, so the TVs and other connected features weren't available. We could hotspot from our phones, but had to use our own data, which we shouldn't have needed to do. The room was dated and not especially clean, the beds were uncomfortable, and the air conditioning was hard to adjust. Food was fine: we had breakfast and a few dinner items, all served hot, and breakfast had a decent range. I wouldn't pay the listed $20 per adult and $12 per child, though breakfast was included in our booking at a small extra rate. The pool water looked cloudy, there were hairs all over the dirty deck, and someone started scrubbing the pool bottom while we were swimming. Towels were often unavailable. The spa felt nice, but wasn't hot-tub warm. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and things like Dave and Busters, but getting to Mississauga or Toronto can take around 40 minutes depending on traffic.

The location is good, and the service was fine. They offered free breakfast because the Wi-Fi was down, which was a nice gesture. Still, the price doesn't match the hotel's condition. It's dated, and I can live with that, but it needs to be kept clean and the mattresses need replacing now and then. Mine was gross. I only noticed after I woke up.

The location made it easy to get to restaurants, shops, and attractions, and the hotel itself was kept in good shape. I had a great stay at Hilton Garden Inn in Vaughan. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, mini-fridge, microwave, and fast WiFi. The pool and hot tub were lovely for relaxing, and the gym had good equipment for a quick workout. I also enjoyed the on-site breakfast, which was fresh and had plenty to choose from. The staff were welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the whole place felt comfortable. I'd happily stay again.

The front desk team made a real difference, always friendly and ready to help. They also shared tips on good restaurants nearby, and we really enjoyed our dinner. My room at Hilton Garden Inn Vaughan was comfortable, clean, and well cared for. The stay went smoothly from check-in through check-out, and the hotel had a warm, welcoming feel. Thanks to the team for making it such an enjoyable visit. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

The staff were lovely and helpful the whole time, but the room needed a deeper clean and the hotel felt dated. For what I paid, I expected better. My key cards kept malfunctioning, the phone didn't work, and the TV was glitchy.
