Rosewood Inn

Really lovely Inn, and the downtown location is great. They have coffee and fresh muffins for breakfast. My one small complaint is that my room had one of the large soaker tubs they advertise, but no bathrobe was provided. Other places I’ve stayed have supplied robes in rooms with tubs. Just a suggestion.

The location is beautiful, right by all the best parts of victoria, and the place itself is adorable. The staff I met were kind and welcoming. But if you’re here to rest, the rooms are awful for noise. I couldn’t sleep because of other guests, and my room wasn’t completely clean.

We had a clean, comfortable stay in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and the staff were very friendly. It’s an attractive hotel within walking distance of downtown sights. I’d come back, though a few things could be better: there’s no elevator, no way to set the temperature in your own room, and ours was often broiling. They also could easily put a microwave in every room, but don’t.

Our room was spacious and private, with a great bathroom that had an oversized tub and a separate shower. The hotel also has lovely common areas, and there’s parking. They put out freshly baked muffins every day until noon, and dishes and silverware are available in the dining room. Everything was clean, and the staff were there to help. We love this place. What more could you ask for?
