Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo

The pool was a big hit, and our room was really clean and comfortable. We were there over the weekend for my daughter’s birthday, and the staff made her feel special at check-in with a treat and a nice note. There was another birthday note and dessert waiting in the room, too. That kind of service meant a lot to us. We had the best time and will definitely come back soon. Thanks! Mark and Rachel

I was able to walk to most of my meetings, and there were restaurants and cafés nearby, which made getting around easy. The room was modern, clean, and roomy enough, with a comfortable bed and a useful desk for late-night presentation work. Check-in was very quick, and the staff were friendly without making a fuss. The only letdown was breakfast: decent, though forgettable. At least the coffee was strong. I spent three days here for consulting and found it comfortable, quiet, and convenient, which is what I need from a hotel on a work trip.

I liked having a desk area to sit and work on my computer, and the room itself was cozy and clean. Service was good, too. A few things were frustrating: the TV didn't work, and the network cable coming out of the wall was only 20cm long, so I couldn't plug in my laptop. The shower tap was labeled so poorly that it took effort to figure out how to adjust the hot and cold water.

The rooms were nice, the beds comfortable, and the hotel has been renovated. What bothered me was the parking charge. I registered my car at reception, but nobody mentioned that parking cost extra. After I checked out, an invoice arrived and I was charged for it.
