The view from our beautiful room was lovely, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Merle and Lou made us feel completely at home, and their little dog Teeko was a bonus. We also tried Merles famous waffles, which were every bit as good as hoped. Such kind, attentive hosts in a great location. Casa Loma bnb is an easy 10/10.

We had a great two-night stay and the breakfasts were a highlight, especially the waffles and burritos. Merle and Lou were welcoming and accommodating, even making up the room on our first day. We had some really fun conversations with them too. Can’t wait to come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone :)

The AC made a huge difference during the hottest days in Canada's history, keeping the room comfortable and helping us sleep well. Breakfast was amazing, and my wife and I loved listening to Merle and Lou's stories while we ate. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, including plenty of fancy five-star places, but none came close to their hospitality and kindness. They’re such positive, happy hosts, and a wonderful example of people who love what they do.

We had the loft suite to ourselves in Merle and Lou's beautiful home. The hosts were lovely and breakfast was excellent. It was a fabulous place to stay. We only wish we’d had more time, but had to rush off to catch our train.

Looking back on our 2017 trip, Merle & Lou were wonderful to deal with, and the accommodations were the best we stayed in. Every room had a great view of the water, and breakfast was fantastic.
