Everyone was so welcoming, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, and the service was great. The restaurant food was 10/10, and the room was beautiful with an amazing view. Such a lovely lodge on a beautiful island. I’d definitely stay again, and highly recommend making the trip if you’re visiting Nova Scotia!

We slept so well with the fresh sea air coming in and gulls calling way off in the distance. The views are fantastic, and people around the island are great, always ready with a friendly hello and a smile. The lodge is charming, and the food was good too, with plenty of menu choices for different tastes. We’ll definitely come back!

A local told us to try this place, and the ferry trip was absolutely worth it. We had the best meal of our two-week trip out east. The food was incredible, the service was great, and the views were amazing. The desserts were out of this world, and the prices were reasonable. We’ll be back!

The location is great, overlooking the water, with hiking trails nearby and whale watching tours just a short drive away. We loved the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, and the garden strawberries and vegetables were especially tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with a beautiful balcony view that was perfect for watching the sunrise over coffee. The Lodge, the restaurant, and the staff were all wonderful. We’re already making plans to return!

We stopped at the restaurant for breakfast before a day out exploring, and it kept us full. The home fries were just right, and the portion was generous. The coffee was fine, in that diner-coffee sort of way. But the breakfast sandwich was the star. Mustard was such a good addition. Highly recommend!
