Upper Rideau Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I spent two nights here for our first wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful stay. The room felt luxurious, and the house was decorated so beautifully for Christmas that it felt like stepping into a movie. Keith and Donna took extra care to plan a breakfast menu around our dietary restrictions. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail show throughout the B&B. We look forward to coming back!

The breakfast at Upper Rideau B & B was a real highlight. We started with warm blueberry scone cake, then had fresh waffles with a huge choice of toppings, followed by eggs cooked just how you like them. There was hot coffee, tea, and fresh juice too, so it was quite a feast. We’d just returned from a stay there in Westport, Ontario, and the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to relax. Keith and Donna were warm, friendly hosts who paid attention to their guests’ comfort. It really is a gem, and with their five-star hospitality, I’d book well ahead.

Breakfast is delicious, and it just keeps coming, so bring your appetite. We also had great conversation with the hosts. The home is beautiful, cozy, and comfortable, with a perfect location and genuinely good people running it. The rooms are lovely, and they haven’t missed the details. The beds and sheets are among the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. Great place, great food, great experience. THANK YOU!

The gardens and firepit made for such a relaxing setting, with quiet water views, Muskoka chairs on the dock, and a lovely home all around. My room was very clean and comfortable, and they provide everything you need. I had the best three-night getaway at Upper Rideau B&B. Keith and Donna are warm, friendly hosts and very talented in the kitchen. The breakfasts were amazing, and the coffee was great too. I'm sure I'll be back!
