We stayed four nights in August as a family of four. The two bedrooms were both large, and the open living area and modern, fully equipped kitchen made the place feel spacious. There's a stacked washer and dryer too. It's right in the central part of pedestrian Whistler village.

The room itself was incredible, and I could see the staff were working around the clock. They were kind and accommodating in general, which makes what happened around our bereavement especially disappointing. Some small promises they made weren't kept. I had ordered wine ahead as a gift, but it was forgotten. After I called, a warm, cheap bottle was delivered at quite a price, then the recipient was charged. It was embarrassing to give that to someone who had just lost her husband. They'd also offered a bottle as a gift, forgot about it, and when we awkwardly asked, gave us a small split of cheap wine that felt degrading. This was before they asked us to pay for the first bottle, which should already have been prepaid. I was also in a room beside what seemed to be a break room. There was constant laughing and heckling, and I had to leave my room at least four times to ask for quiet before 8:30 a.m. They seemed to be having fun, but weren't considering the guests. Eventually I left a note on the door each night to remind them, which got frustrating. I hope to return and bring more business, but I hope the next stay feels a bit more charismatic.

The unit (202) didn't feel worth the hefty price, given its furnishings and finishes. I felt robbed. The location is great, but the restaurant and bar downstairs play loud, obnoxious music with heavy bass that can keep you from sleeping.

The peaceful, comfortable feel made this lodge seem like a home away from home. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

A definite recommendation if you can get a room at a decent rate. The lifts are so close! The rooms are decent, though they could use some modernization, and the place could be a bit cleaner. Still, you're there to ski, not spend the whole trip in your room. Longhorn isn't a problem for the backside, though I'm not sure about the side above it.
