I’d try White Point in the off season for a lower rate and a quieter stay. The south shore setting is beautiful then too. There’s a huge stretch of beach, plus cabins, domes, and regular rooms. The new main lodge has stunning water views. The pool and hot tub are small, though they work well enough for little kids and families. It’s a very family-oriented resort, so for a more intimate feel, I’d choose a glamping dome or treehouse. And don’t miss the menu at Elliott’s dining room. The food was fantastic.

The deer wandering right outside our glome made our first visit to Nova Scotia feel even more special. My girlfriend and I had flown in from Ontario, and staying at White Point Beach Resort was such a memorable way to see the province. The glome was cozy, private, relaxing, and really clean. We loved being tucked into nature, but still close enough to walk to the restaurant for great food and live music. It was peaceful and unique. We can’t wait to return!

We’ve been to White Point many times over the years, first when I was a kid and now with my own children. This time we stayed in a Glome, and it was toasty warm when we arrived. The hot tub got plenty of use, and the kitchenette meant we could bring food, though we still went to Elliots restaurant one night. The trail between the lodge and the Glome was a nice way to get some fresh air and spot bunnies before heading back inside. In early April, the rec team and entertainment room kept the kids busy when it was cool out. There’s something for everyone here, from live music and pub food to fine dining, trails, activities, and entertainment. The staff were warm and friendly. We’ll be back soon!

James made us feel welcome at dinner and kept us laughing. The food was great too. I had the beef shortribs both nights, while my wife went for the mushroom afredo. We ate two suppers and two breakfasts at the main house, just a peaceful short walk from our glome. It was our second visit to White Point, this time for a honeymoon weekend with the romance package. The chocolate covered stawberrys and Nova 7 wine were a lovely touch. The beach was beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The resort has so much character and feels like a magical getaway. I hope we can book a tree house next time. Until next time WP. Love Justin&Chels

This was my second trip to White Point Beach Resort, and the beachside setting gives the place a great atmosphere. It’s spread out beautifully by the water, with plenty of things to do, including a pool, spa, golf course, and areas for pickleball and volleyball. It works well for a group trip or a relaxing night out. The restaurant and bar both had excellent food and service. My one downside was the restaurant and breakfast hours, which felt very specific and early. Otherwise, it’s definitely worth a visit.
