Outdated or quaint would be fine with me, but this room was filthy. There was old food on the floor, one blanket had cigarette burns, and the other was barely holding together. I had no confidence either had been washed. The sliding door was broken and wouldn't lock, and it didn't look like anyone had swept or mopped in ages. I walked in, then straight back out. The front desk didn't seem surprised when I said I wasn't staying and that the room was disgusting. I'd have slept in my car rather than stay at Lakeview if I couldn't find another room. Skip the Lakeview and go to the Ramada. Expedia should take this place off its recommendations. I still can't figure out how it got close to four stars.

The screened deck looks out over the water, and we loved the room. It was clean, too. The only snag was the coffee pot: we could get it to work just once.

I live in Williams Lake and haven't stayed at the motel, so my five stars are for the mini golf. We had a fun Saturday afternoon there with friends. It's a nice extra attraction for our town.

We found this cute, quaint little place on our way home and stopped for a night's sleep. The view was beautiful and the price was good. We weren't there long, but it was just right for a quick rest.

The sign is hard to spot and read, so finding the place was tricky without good navigation. Once there, though, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and they let us bring our cat and dog.
