Old Orchard Inn & Spa

The restaurant was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, and everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the beautiful long views, though the inn sits above a busy highway. The new owners are remodeling and redecorating. Beds were comfortable, but too tall for most of us to get in and out of easily, as all three generations in our family noticed. Sound control in the rooms was poor.

We came back to Terroir Restaurant at the Old Orchard for our anniversary, the same place where we had our first date, and it felt just as magical. The view is one of the most beautiful in Nova Scotia, and the atmosphere is cozy but refined. Service was warm, thoughtful, and attentive without being too much. My husband enjoyed his scallop dish, one of his favorites, and my rib eye was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. The whole evening felt special. Thanks for helping us relive such a meaningful place in our story. We'll definitely be back soon.

Our room this time was amazing, large, with lots of sitting space, and beautiful even under all that winter snow. The restaurant food was amazing as always, and the staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. I wish I'd had time to visit the spa for a pedi, but we were there just one night for a hockey tournament. Love the Old Orchard Inn.

The updated room felt fresh, and I liked the apples, water, and housecoats as thoughtful details. Food was great, and the place is close to snowmobile trails. The only small downside was what seemed like a poor selection of TV channels, but it wasn't an issue since we use the internet these days, and the connection was good and fast. Great stay.
