Best Western Plus Woodstock Hotel & Conference Centre

The kids and parents had an amazing time here during the hockey tournament. The staff went out of their way to make the kids' stay fun, and that alone would bring me back to a Best Western. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was included and better than the usual continental spread. The room itself was just okay, nothing special, but the experience as a whole was great. If we have another tournament in Woodstock, I'll ask the manager to book us here.

The staff were all ready to help and take care of things, and Janet at breakfast was especially good at looking after everyone. I wish I'd had cash to tip her. Breakfast was good too, and I slept really well. The bed, pillows, and sheets were surprisingly great.

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable, and the staff and breakfast were both great. But skip a first-floor room if you want to sleep well. You can hear hallway noise and footsteps from upstairs, and the breakfast buffet is at the far end of the hall, so guests pass your door on their way there. Sleeping in isn't really an option when you can hear everything.

The little things here made a real impression. I came back from dinner around 8:00 p.m. and saw a staff member cheerfully vacuuming salt that had been tracked onto the hallway carpet. It was the kind of ordinary winter mess that could easily have waited until morning, but they were taking care of it then. That moment said a lot about how this hotel is run. My room was spotless, everything worked as expected, and there were no odd smells or broken fixtures. Best Westerns can be quietly solid or memorably bad, and the Woodstock, New Brunswick one was genuinely excellent. I only had two small gripes: the bathroom faucet may be the smallest I've ever seen, and there's no EV charging in the parking lot. There is charging in town, so adding it on-site could be a smart upgrade. I'll manage the faucet, and the charging issue is solvable. This is a great stop. I might not pass through again, but if I do, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Woodstock. Well done, Best Western Woodstock.
