Woodstock Inn and Suites

There were bed bugs crawling over the bed and disappearing under the baseboards when I woke up. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart, and the shower was so disgusting we didn't use it. Cleanliness doesn't seem to be considered here. I told the front desk, and he just said “okay thank you” and ignored it. I'll be reporting this place to the health board today. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The room was a decent size, but I booked the advertised Single Queen and got a bed that was only Full size. The building is older and could use some work. The main upside is how close it is to things in the area. There isn't dedicated parking. You have to try your luck on the street or use a public lot at the end of the street. Neither the hotel website nor the booking site mentioned this. With my mobility issues, that was really frustrating, and I probably wouldn't have booked if I'd known. If you have mobility or accessibility needs, I'd avoid this place. There are stairs up to the lobby, a lift that appears blocked off, no parking, and no available rooms with grab bars.

The location is okay, but that's the only good thing. The rooms aren't clean, and the receptionist said they don't have cleaners. There are bed bugs, the breakfast area fridge is filthy, and the cereal container lid needs cleaning. DO NOT stay here.

We were exhausted and only wanted to watch TV and sleep after arriving late. The TV wouldn't work, so they moved us to another room. There was barely any air in that one, so we got moved to a third, but it reeked of smoke. After about an hour of trying to sort things out, we went back to the first room. We were so tired, but then spotted a cockroach in the corner and decided to leave. The front desk said we'd still have to pay 35 for staying an hour, lol. There are details I left out that would make you laugh at how ridiculous it all was.
