Home2 Suites By Hilton Woodstock ON Canada

That check-in follow-up text asking if our room was meeting expectations was a small touch, but it made the care feel real. The whole stay impressed me, from the service to the breakfast buffet, which had lots of good options. We also liked having a roomy common seating area where coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available all day. My husband, son, and I were there for one night for my son's hockey event, and this was the best hotel stay we've had during years of tournament trips. The room had much more space than a typical hotel room, plus useful details like outlets in sensible spots, counters at comfortable heights, and tables on both sides of the bed. The TV had a big channel selection, and the fitness centre was excellent. I'd happily recommend it.

The pool was spotless, and there was a nice outdoor area with plenty of loungers and tables. Even with several hockey teams staying there, they kept towels available. The gym equipment was excellent too. All-day coffee was lovely, though I would have preferred milk or cream to coffee mate. Breakfast had a decent range and was well stocked. Restaurants and other amenities are walkable, and the rink we played at was very close. Staff were patient with the excited kids. The hotel had only recently opened and was in almost immaculate shape. The kitchen had everything you'd need to make a family meal. We only made sandwiches, so didn't ask for a stove. The desk worked well for me, with good outlets, a comfortable chair, a useful light, and fast internet. There was also a pullout table for meals. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and I liked that a curtain could separate the sitting area from the beds. Plenty of storage, conveniently placed outlets, and good blackout blinds. The bathroom was clean, had a nightlight, and came with good toiletries. I hope future guests don't take all the equipment. It was an excellent stay.

The room was clean and tidy, and check-in was quick. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast had a nice selection. This newly built property in Woodstock is easy to reach from highway 401, with lots of places to eat and shop just a few minutes away. I'll look forward to coming back when I'm in the area.

We really didn't want to leave and can't wait to return. Everyone on staff made us feel like family, especially Arpana and Harleen on the night shift at the desk. They were so kind and helpful. Breakfast was great, and the oatmeal alone was worth getting up for. Highly recommend.
