Lovely place, and I’d definitely return. If you reserve through an online service like Capital One Travel, text or email your host when you book, or they won’t be able to get in touch with you.

Lovely house and host, in a great location. I was there in Decmeber and walked everywhere. The Frame Lake trail and the lake itself are right behind the house.

Getting out to the middle of Frame Lake to watch the lights each night was the best part, and it only took a few minutes from the front door. We had a lovely February stay at Hacho House. The hosts were really accommodating, and the place felt welcoming. Thanks for a great time in Yellowknife!

The host was so nice and left us plenty of good snacks. The dog and cats were very relaxed too, the dog stayed quiet and the cats lounged around. It’s a bit far from Downtown, but walking in the cold wasn’t appealing anyway, so I didn’t mind. The place was warm, cozy, comfortable, had hot water and lots of amenities. I had a great time and definitely recommend staying here if you want to get a local feel. Thanks for having us, I appreciate it :)

That little black cat was ridiculously cute, though I still don’t know her name :( The house is huge but feels cozy, and the host was nice. Everything was great, couldn’t ask for more!!
