Leon Hotel Brazzaville

The staff made us feel very welcome, 10/10 for hospitality, and the value for money was just as good. We enjoyed a very good breakfast and dinner by the pool. The rooms were clean, cosy, and well maintained. We did have some Wi-Fi connection problems, but reception sorted them out after we complained. A really nice place in Congo Brazzaville.

A quiet, comfortable, cosy hotel in the middle range, where they always welcome you like an old friend. The suites look out over the small pool. Breakfast is a scrumptious buffet, served either in the restaurant or outside by the pool. They provide toiletries and other amenities, plus a kettle with coffee and tea.

The internet was surprisingly fast and steady, and the area felt safe and quiet. There are three decent restaurants and two small supermarkets an easy walk away. Brazzaville hotels are pricey, and Leon is no exception. The rooms look spacious and nice at first, but closer inspection shows some questionable details. Breakfast is fine if you stick with croissants, yogurt, and fruit. I wasn't so sure about the coffee, butter, or the salads made with canned peas and carrots and mayonnaise. Staff did their best, and some speak English.

The buffet runs all day and it's great. If you're a foodie, you'll find plenty to eat 😎👌🏿.
