Villa Weber

The rooms looked okay, but both the hand soap and hair and body wash were empty, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close because the hinge had failed. Check-in itself took 15 minutes, then we opened the room door and found someone else inside, even though the room number matched our check-in. At first they insisted nobody could be in our room. It took another 10 minutes to reach someone by phone, and in the end our family got two separate rooms. The idea gets an 8, but the execution gets a 1.

The room itself was spacious and really nice, with a super comfortable bed, a coffee machine and pods, and dogs are allowed. But arriving at night turned into an hour of panic. There was no reception or helpline, no working phone number, no instructions, and no confirmation email, so we could enter the hotel but not the room. I’d remembered the room number from a page during check-in, but transferring to the app, which they said would be easier, erased everything, including the room number and entry details. Luckily, we found an open key box and I remembered the number, so we got in, though I still wasn’t sure it was our room. I sent a message to their “receptionist” through the app as soon as we were inside and still haven’t had a reply or explanation. Such a shame.

I had a great stay, and the staff and housekeeping were amazing. Two days after I lost my passport in the room, they helped find it and gave me a lot of help. They deserve our trust and appreciation. The staff are patient and enthusiastic with customers. Big thanks to Villa Weber!

The rooms are okay, and self check-in was okay too, but the service was awful. I called for basic help because some things were missing from the room, and got a very unpleasant guy on the phone. He answered with things like “we are not 5 star hotel” and then hung up. I’ll never go back!
