That balcony view is hard to leave. We kept lingering over breakfast instead of heading out on our planned trips. The apartment itself worked really well for our family, with room for five, or up to seven if two people use the sofa. The living room and kitchen have both been recently renovated and feel great. The bathroom is very spacious, and I appreciated the big shower as a larger person. The owner also leaves out lovely towels and washcloths. The bedrooms are practical, though the beds felt a little too firm for me. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was broken all week, so we couldn't try it. After a long hike, sitting in the bubbles with a beer and looking at the Alps would have been a lovely way to spend the evening. The location is another strong point. The Oey gondola is a short walk away, and across the road there's a bad-weather option with bowling, climbing, an escape room, and more. The walk into town is somewhat steep, but you can take the bus. Adelboden is a lovely little town with plenty of shopping, and there's lots to do in and around it.
