The steak in the Fitness Teller was tender and full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh. That salad sauce was especially good. I'd definitely recommend it.

We spent a relaxed two hours over Sunday lunch, and no one rushed us along. The restaurant has plenty to look at, from animals carved into the chair backs to taxidermy and all sorts of things gathered over its long, interesting history. The portions were generous, with Schweinshaxe, a kind of ham cooked on the bone, and noodles, then a big serving of delicious Apfelstrudel.

That soft crackle from the fireplace made a lovely backdrop. We came with the family today and had a great time: a beautiful spot in nature, warm people, and really good food. I recommend the Schweinshaxe, and we'd gladly come again.
