Christiania Mountain & Spa

Breakfast was absolutely incredible, and enormous every morning. The location, rooms, service, food, spa, and staff were all unbelievable. After I left, I realized I'd forgotten my passport and all my cash in the safe. They kindly retrieved it and kept it safe for me. That personal attention made me feel so well cared for. Swiss hospitality at its best.

Our room looked straight out over the Matterhorn, and waking up to that mountain was unforgettable. The light and alpine scenery made it feel magical, and the terrace has beautiful panoramic views, a lovely place to slow down and enjoy Zermatt. The hotel was wonderfully baby-friendly. They set up a beautiful wooden cot and even a tiny bathrobe for our baby, thoughtful little touches that made travelling with a baby feel easy and comfortable. The spa was elegant, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with a luxurious feel that wasn't overwhelming. I relaxed as soon as I walked in. Comfort, design, service, and location all came together so nicely. We left feeling relaxed and grateful, already thinking about a return.

The room was a good size, and the outstanding Matterhorn view made the visit especially memorable. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, and I really enjoyed dinner too. I appreciated the water, chocolates, and fruit provided on arrival. Given the room rate, it would be a welcome gesture to replace the water each day, as comparable properties often do. My more significant concern was the bathroom: it felt rather compact, and climbing in and out of the bathtub to use the hand shower seemed potentially unsafe. An upgrade there would help a lot. I valued the stay and offer these comments constructively.

The restaurant's breakfast buffet is the best I've seen in a long time, and dinner has a very high quality menu. The hotel is gorgeous, with excellent service, a top location, and an awesome spa. Already dreaming about coming back.
