ibis Zurich Adliswil

We were so impressed that we stopped here again on our drive home to the UK. The free car park helped too. On the way down to Italy, we found the hotel modern, comfortable, and exceptionally clean, and the neighbourhood felt very safe even at night. Staff were friendly and helpful, and public transport into the main city was good. The walk to the Lindt Museum took about 40 minutes, passing through fields, parks, and lovely neighbourhoods. Ibis Adliswil to Calais was a 9 hour drive, so it’s a decent halfway point if you’re heading to Italy via Switzerland.

The breakfast had plenty of good options. Our room was what you’d expect from an ibis Hotel, and we found the staff friendly and helpful. It was easy to find the hotel.

The restaurant was a highlight, and it seemed to be popular with local people. We stayed four nights while competing at a tournament near a sports venue. If you’re looking to explore zurich, the hotel is far from the city, but the quality is very good otherwise. The rooms are basic, though clean and comfortable.

The room was an okay size for two twin beds, and we liked having until 12pm to check out. It was quite and about a 20 min drive into Zurich. The beds were comfortable and the room relatively clean, though there was some dust. There’s no AC, just a small fan in the room. We enjoyed the stay and would come back.
