We had dinner at the restaurant and I’d rate it a solid 7.5/10. The rooms were clean, though they didn’t feel very modern, and the place is right on the old-town street.

Our family room was a good fit for four, with separate rooms that gave us privacy and comfort. It was spacious, clean, well furnished and thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty choices for everyone. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel in Andermatt. It sits in a beautiful, peaceful spot right in the village, which made it easy to explore the surrounding area. We’d definitely come back.
The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and breakfast was incredible, with choices for all kinds of tastes. I’d highly recommend staying here.
At first it felt warm and cozy, the location was good and the staff were friendly. Sadly, our room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and one bed was broken in the middle. I slept in a hammock-like dip 😞. The church bells were also really loud at 6 o’clock:(
The location is handy, on the main street and about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was basic but fine. The hotel itself was okay, though it’s mostly self-service: your key is left on a table when you arrive, and you leave it there when you go. There’s a bell to ring if you need service. One side of the large bed had a sunken spot, while the other was fine. No elevator, fridge, safe or tissues, and the TV was tiny with a huge number of stations. I didn’t run into any problems, but at $200+ a night, I wouldn’t come back.
