The meal service was a little slow, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but nice enough, and it's a short walk to the telecabine. Good location and generally good value for the price. I'd happily stay again.

The restaurant is amazing 😋 The chef is great 👨🍳. The best entrecôte 🥩, pasta 🍝, and apple tarts 🥧.

It's hard to judge the hotel itself since it closed for renovations earlier than expected. What we can praise is the welcome and service from Sébastien. He offered us his neighboring chalet at no change in rate, and arranged breakfast at Besso just below. The chalet was spacious and comfortable, especially for two, and ideally located for hiking. Thanks to Sébastien for being so available.

One of the most relaxing stops we had on the Haute Route des Alpes. We were hiking through Zinal, and the historic building had very comfortable rooms and beds. The view from the shower room was magical, and breakfast was superb. We could also wash all our clothes while passing through. Sébastien and his team gave us such a warm welcome, and Sébastien offered useful advice for the rest of our hike. A special thank you to him.
