Adler

The breakfast was delicious, and our room and bed were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and updated. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Adler Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind, courteous, and helpful. Highly recommend!

The hotel is right by the main street, so the location was fantastic. I spent a few nights here with my family on our trip to Switzerland, and Matthew at the front desk was an absolute angel. I arrived early, and he let me leave my bags and immediately gave me hiking recommendations. He was proactive and there whenever my family or I needed anything. The rest of the team were just as attentive and nice. You must stay here if you come!

It’s only a few minutes from the central square and train station, and the staff were nice. The breakfast had a very good selection and was one of the better ones we had during our stay in Switzerland. This is a traditional hotel, with charming rooms that might benefit from some updates for what you need in 2025. The bathroom was modern, and there was plenty of space. Cleanliness was no problem. We came by car and found the private backyard parking very convenient. The elevator goes all the way down.

Matjas and Urs were the highlights for us, friendly and professional, and the breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and quick service. The location is also very good, near the old city’s walking streets and the train station. The hotel has some old-fashioned charm, though it feels too touristy. The rooms are just okay. The bathroom has been renewed, but the room itself felt like ClubMed. The restaurant doesn’t seem to belong with the hotel, either in food quality or service. The rooms and restaurant could use attention. Okay value for your money.
