The studio had everything we needed while exploring the Appenzell region. The family are always kind and helpful, and if anything is missing you can just ask them. The train station is 1.4 km away, with free parking there. We would definitely come back if we can.

We chose this holiday studio with the Fässler-Dörig family because of the good reviews, and the views really are magnificent, from east to west. You can see Hoher Kasten, Ebenalp, Säntis, Kronberg, and Appenzell. Gabriela F.-D. surprised us with little sweets, and the family were friendly and helpful. The studio is bright, comfortable, and furnished beautifully, in a very quiet spot. Sammelplatz train station is about a 20-minute walk or five minutes by car. There's free parking, and two hiking trails lead down to Appenzell, partly over meadows and partly on paved paths. With the free Appenzell Holiday Card, train and bus rides are free, as are cable car rides to Hoher Kasten, Kronberg, and Ebenalp, plus much more. Highly recommended. The house is especially peaceful and has stunning views. Free parking is available at the train station's central parking area.

The ground-floor studio is lovely and clean, with everything you need and a fantastic view of Hoher Kasten, Ebenalp, Säntis, and Kronberg. We found it very relaxing. The Fässler-Dörig family are friendly, easygoing, and helpful, and we got to try their delicious homemade treats twice. You can park right outside the door.
