A great place to stay.

We slept peacefully and found the beds comfortable. Silvie's house is in a quiet part of Basel, though it’s only a 2-minute walk to the tram stop and very close to Basel's main train station, Basel Badischer Bahnhof. Silvie was warm and friendly, and breakfast was just right, especially with a good cup of coffee. The house is welcoming. Guests in a first-floor room share the bathroom with others, but that was fine.

I spent a few nights a week at Silvie's over three months, and she was so hospitable, or “herzigen,” as the Swiss say. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, with nothing to complain about. There’s Wi-Fi, and in the morning you can have delicious coffee and breakfast. I’d definitely stay again and recommend her.
