The staff made our one-night stay really pleasant. Mr. Samuel handled check-in smoothly, showed me to the room and explained how everything worked, including the heater. He was patient with all our questions about Basel and quickly helped when I accidentally left all three access cards in the room just after checking in. Guests can also ask reception for a welcome drink in the lobby. The location is excellent for walking to key spots. To get to Basel SBB, you can take Bus No. 30 from right across the street. The hotel gives guests a complimentary Basel Day Pass for public transport around the city during their stay. If you've only just arrived and don't have the pass yet, you can take public transport to the hotel without paying. If there's a ticket inspection, show your hotel booking confirmation, then the staff will give you the pass at check-in. This was our second visit to Basel from Malaysia, but our first time staying there. We booked for one night because we were leaving the next day, and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We'd definitely recommend it.

The lounge serves great coffee and tea, and our room was clean. Alex and the other front counter staff were welcoming and great to us. This was my family's and friends' first stay in Basel, and my family was very happy here. The hotel is just one stop from Basel Railway station by Bus 30.

I picked this hotel as a base for trips to other places and cities, and it's convenient if you want to be near the train station. You get what you pay for. The room was quiet and the shower was great, but the toilet and shower are in the same room behind little partitions, so you can hear all the noise from there. There was no courtesy drinking water.

I felt at home here and will absolutely choose this hotel again when I return to Basel. It's in a calm, cozy neighborhood, close to the city center, and well connected to the airport and train station. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. The room was thoughtfully designed and furnished with everything you might need, even for a long stay. Comfortable bed, perfect shower and a very agreeable terrace. Thanks for a great experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there were free welcome drinks. The hotel gives you a city pass for free public transport, plus half-price entry at many museums. It's also in an excellent spot for the city center and getting around.
