The little garden was a lovely surprise, and breakfast on the covered terrace came with eggs cooked fresh. Our hostess was kind, attentive, and discreet. We spent one night here with our 14-year-old son. The rooms are spacious, clean, and practical, with classic decor. One drawback: the twin rooms use small wrought-iron beds pushed together instead of a double bed. They can slide apart if you move much on the beautiful wooden floor.

Miss Melanie was kind and attentive, and made us a delicious breakfast at the time we requested. She even had umbrellas available for rainy weather. The place feels quiet and peaceful despite being so close to Basel's main station. We stayed one night while passing through, and liked its vintage charm. The breakfast and reading room, veranda where smoking is allowed, and little inner garden are all small, but welcoming.

Our room had plenty of space and was fully equipped, and breakfast was complete and nicely prepared. The owner was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and gave us lots of advice for our trip around Switzerland. Her tips helped us see some beautiful places. A wonderful bed and breakfast in Basel. Compliments!

The owner made us feel very welcome, and the quiet setting is close to the train station. Our room was cute and clean, with a hairdryer and lots of towels. There's an electric kettle in the dining area that guests can use for tea or coffee, and Wi-Fi works in the rooms and dining area. Breakfast was wonderful, too. I'd happily stay here again on a future visit to Basel.
