Pullman Basel Europe

The view wasn't great, looking across at an office building with completely broken blinds. Next time I'll ask for a room across the landing. Since I was there for just one night, it was okay. The room itself was lovely, with a small but fully equipped bathroom, a great shower, and a good mattress. Breakfast and service were very good, and the beautiful old town is very close. I appreciated the espresso machine, tea, and water. Parking cost a modest 27 francs.

Convenient spot near the city center, with nice staff and a great breakfast selection. Everything was in awesome condition. I'd definitely come back.

Pullman feels like my home away from home whenever I come to Basel. The staff are extremely helpful, and this visit was wonderful again, especially thanks to Elvina. I was moving between 7-8 different hotels on this trip, and she went above and beyond by holding my luggage and bringing it to me so I could pack and unpack. I honestly couldn't have managed without her. Awesome customer service, and I highly recommend staying at Pullman.

The rooms were comfortable and we slept very well, and the property itself is lovely. But the welcome at reception was disappointing. The receptionist, Jessica, didn't seem welcoming when we arrived. Later, a friend said he needed to contact his partner for a photo of her ID and thought she was probably asleep. Jessica laughed and replied in a condescending way, “Sleeping at this hour? Really?” That mocking response felt completely unprofessional. At a hotel of this standard, guests should be treated with respect and courtesy. It's a real shame, because the hotel is beautiful and the stay could have been excellent without that behavior at reception.
