Swiss Star Landskronstrasse

A nice place for a family stay, in a quiet neighborhood near the park, with lots of grocery stores around. One thing to keep in mind: there's no physical reception, and you can't enter even a minute early. The machine only activates your code at exactly 2:30 pm.

Everything was amazing.

The apartment itself was well maintained, and the three workers were kind and got started about 15 minutes after we asked them to clean. But the room wasn't ready when we arrived. It was dirty, with trash and clothes around, and we couldn't leave until it had been cleaned. If we can't move in on time, a discount would be fair.

We were told to arrive no earlier than 2:30 PM, but when we got there the house was in a disgusting state. Dog hair was everywhere, the corners looked like a dump, and there was no TV. I understand the previous tenant may have left it that way, but how could anyone let new guests in without cleaning? It would take at least 3-4 hours to get a place like that clean. They wouldn't find us another place or refund our money, saying there was nowhere else to clean the house. We spent four hours outside in desperation and came back around 8:30 PM. Even after cleaning, dog hair was still floating around, and the place smelled strongly of animals and cigarette smoke. There was just one tiny blanket for a double bed. It was a nightmare. I couldn't sleep, and we left before sunrise.
