Breakfast and the view made a lovely start to each day. Katrin prepared it, and some of the cheese came from Chris and Katrins cow, which made it feel even more authentic. The Alphotel felt completely Swiss, from the decor to the food. It’s so well placed that you could spend the whole day gazing at the lake and mountains. Chris was full of useful local information, which made our short stay more interesting. Angela and I had a really enjoyable visit, and your hospitality and recommendations were spot on. Thank you both.

The mountain and lake views were stunning, and breakfast was delicious. We spent one night at this lovely BnB, where our hosts were so friendly and helpful. They also gave us a free bus pass.

We felt right at home with Katrine and Chris. The beds were wonderful, and breakfast was homemade with a great range of choices. There were lovely mountain views from our balcony too. A real find.

The view from the breakfast tables and decks is spectacular, and the inn is beautifully cared for and styled. Everything was comfortable and top notch. We stayed five nights at Eiger Alphotel in Beatenberg, and Chris and Katrine made us feel especially welcome. They shared stories about the 125-year old inn and how they came to own it, made delicious breakfasts each day, and gave us great advice on tours and activities, plus bus and train schedules. We didn’t want to leave the area or their beautiful inn. They made our first trip to The Alps so special.
