A quiet place with clean rooms, friendly reception, a good location, breakfast included, and lovely outdoor seating. It was great value for money and one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. I’ll gladly come back. Highly recommend!

Awful from the start, and I was ready to leave after half an hour. There were no European-style plug sockets in the rooms, no privacy curtains around the beds, and the duvet and pillow were dirty. The WiFi was painfully slow and some lights were broken. Towels cost extra. Breakfast was appalling, especially if you wanted decent vegan options. I wish I’d paid more for proper accommodation.

I wasn’t feeling well when I checked in, and the hostel staff went well beyond what I expected to accommodate me. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with a good range of sandwich fillings, especially cheeses and vegetables. The location is very close to the river and train station. I hope to return, and I highly recommend it.

Everything was kept incredibly clean, and the rooms feel contemporary. Breakfast is included, with bread, biscuits, jam, cereal, fruit, cheeses, and ham. The staff were welcoming and efficient. It's about a minute from the beautiful river Aare and a seven-minute walk from the centre.
