The hotel's terrace looks out over the Aare River, Kirchenfeld bridge, and the distant Bernese Alps. Inside, the rooms are spacious, with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. The food and service brought back the feel of the old days. It's a historic building beside the Federal Parliament of Switzerland, and the place feels like a unique gem where every detail has meaning.

Breakfast was a highlight, thanks to Adis, who seemed to anticipate what we needed. When my omelette wasn't cooked the way I like it, he personally sent it back to the kitchen and came to apologize for the wait. That care was rare and much appreciated. In the evenings, the Bellevue Bar team made some of the best cocktails we've had on our travels in Europe, and all the staff showed real warmth and pride in their work. We arrived to a gracious welcome from the bellman, and Chaira made check-in perfect. She shared her favorite Bern spots and stayed helpful and attentive throughout our visit. The Bellevue Palace Hotel exceeded every expectation and made for an unforgettable stay. Having experienced it ourselves, we understand why Bellevue Palace has two Michelin Keys. They're well deserved.

The Bellevue Palace is beautiful architecturally, and its staff really made the stay comfortable and memorable. During the late May 2026 heatwave, our family struggled to sleep in the heat. The team brought us fans to improve the airflow, then went a step further and moved us to a cooler room on a lower floor than the one we'd originally been assigned. Older European buildings often lack modern insulation and air conditioning, and we were grateful for the help. Thank you to the BP team for such exceptional service. We hope to visit again.

I appreciated learning about the hotel's history and its connection to the neighboring government buildings. The team took time to share those stories, and I was grateful. Mr. Bührer, the General Manager, along with Thomas, Joana, Shana, and the restaurant manager at Noumi all took wonderful care of us. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had an extremely comfortable bed. The whole hotel was immaculate and well maintained while staying true to its character. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome and personal feel made this a true five-star experience. I'll choose the Bellevue Palace every time I return to Bern, and I look forward to coming back soon.

I've been here twice and had a consistently great stay both times. It's my favorite hotel in Bern and an easy choice whenever I'm in town. The staff are helpful and friendly, and I love the beautiful interior. Breakfast is fantastic, whether you go for the buffet or order something, and the room service food I've tried was delicious and nicely presented. Already looking forward to coming back! 😊
