I got a free upgrade from an eight-bed dorm to a four-bed one, which was a nice start. The room was bright, clean, roomy, and had a desk by the window with plenty of sockets. I also enjoyed spending time in the guest kitchen and co-working area, and the breakfast buffet had a good selection each morning. It’s a well equipped hostel for the price, on the edge of town, with walks into either the city or the countryside. Recommended.

The rooms, bathrooms included, stayed super clean all day, and the price for what you get is good. My room had an amazing mountain view. Staff were very hospitable and always ready to help, and breakfast was hearty. There are also billiards and foosball to play. Great hostel!

Hostel 77 is easy to reach from public transport and the city center, and the common spaces are nice for relaxing or chatting with other travelers. The rooms aren’t especially large, but they’re cozy, tidy, and organized, with comfortable beds. From arrival, the staff were welcoming and ready to help. The whole hostel felt warm, clean, and well cared for. I appreciated how well it’s run and the team’s positive attitude. Great value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Bern.
