I spent 6 weeks here from July into September, enjoying both quiet stretches and meeting some nice people. It's in a tranquil, historical town with mountains nearby to hike in. The internet is very fast, and there are lots of facilities for making coffee, tea, and so on. Patricia was very helpful arranging my reservation and with everything else. I can recommend staying here!
The views were so impressive that I forgot to take photos inside. The building is cozy, has many amenities, and is well equipped. I liked being able to use the kitchen to make our own meals, and I had a really relaxing summer time. The hostel is beautiful and super well located, with quick access to major hiking and skiing areas. The bedrooms and common rooms are clean and cozy. One small thing, I wish the shower water wouldn't stop running so fast ;)
We spent a week in Petit Vélan and felt right at home. The internet was perfect for working, so it's great for digital nomads.
It's cozy and quiet, with impeccable hygiene and a fast response time. If you're passing through, you have to visit!
I like the place. The energy is good, and there are lots of hiking trails around 😄
