Seehotel Bären

We had a great experience. The hotel was quiet and offered a lovely view of Brienzersee. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though dated, and the place could use refurbishment. Breakfast was very good, with enough choices to suit different tastes. There isn't free parking, but there are plenty of spaces on both sides of the hotel. It seems a good choice for a one or two-night stay.

The location couldn't be better, and breakfast was excellent. Most of the staff were so warm and welcoming that we felt like part of the family. The room was okay, but the bed really needs replacing. One housekeeper and the restaurant cook had a poor attitude; everyone else went above and beyond.

The view was breathtaking, and I felt relaxed from the moment I arrived. The house was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The woman at the front desk who helped me check in was especially warm, friendly, and professional. The hotel's equipment is kind of old, tbh, but staying here was still worthwhile. It deserves more than five stars!

The hotel is right beside the train and bus stations, with loads of activities nearby. I felt safe both there and in the local area, day and night, and would happily return and recommend it to friends and family. Our smoke-free room for two had a private bathroom and breakfast included. Staff were friendly, approachable, professional, and gave us good suggestions for nearby activities. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge choice, and we really liked it. I also used the shared toilets on the ground floor by the bar a couple of times, and they were clean. It seems ideal for travelers, couples, and young families.
