A great lake and mountain view, and the room was clean, well maintained, and equipped. The staff were helpful and cooperative. Absolutely one of the best experiences you could have in Switzerland. Definitely highly recommended.

We came back the next day for breakfast and had the yummiest food, with several vegetarian choices. On Easter Sunday morning, we’d only stopped in for takeaway coffee, but the view of Lake Brienz and the ambience persuaded us to sit down. The coffee and cake were lovely, and the staff were efficient and friendly. This cafe is a huge hit. We’d love to return if we’re in the area again.

The soup and sandwich were amazing, and the restaurant is really comfortable with a great lake view. Our waitress was attentive and professional, and suggested their best tea, which we both liked. We’ll try to come back next time we’re traveling in Switzerland.

Even though we only stopped for beers, the boss came over personally to say hello and check that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The waitress was super friendly and welcoming, and the lakefront views are amazing. A warm, perfect visit on our last night of vacation. Thank you, highly recommended!
